THE TRIP
Join us in Shattering Expectations Around The World
Kevin has been on the Board of TCF Cares (The Children's Foundation, which is the parent non-profit for Casa Hogar) for over a decade. His Shatter Expectations formula has helped the children overcome their own expectations of themselves, motivating them to dream bigger, work harder and break through barriers.
Kevin offers numerous opportunities for High School and University athletic teams, families, and groups of any kind to join him on "The Trip" to Casa Hogar to participate in the magic of experiencing first-hand how Shatter Expectations has impacted the children of Casa Hogar.

CASA HOGAR
In 1995 Nancy Nystrom opened a soup kitchen in Manzanillo Mexico to help feed the children who were living on the street or in extreme poverty. The “Comador” fed 75-100 children one meal everyday.

The following year Nancy founded Casa Hogar Los Angelitos, a unique home that today, offers over 75 children ranging from 3 years to early 20's, a safe place of healing to call home.
Helping each child, regardless of previous circumstances, reach his or her full potential and dreams is the guiding principle.
Education is a proven avenue to breaking the cycle of poverty. All school age children at CHLA attend school and are encouraged to stay in school and to follow their dreams. After high school, students are encouraged to go to trade school or university.
For many years CHLA has offered classes in the Expressive Arts. Dance, music, vocal, painting, and arts & crafts are part of the daily life at CHLA. This has proven to be invaluable in helping the children to heal emotional traumas; stay focused in school and encourages self-confidence with cultural pride and understanding.
